Some journeys take you halfway around the world before you finally begin to understand where you belong.
There is something quite lovely about reaching the fourth book in a series and realising that you are properly invested now.
You know the family. You know the story behind Pa Salt. You know there are seven sisters, seven mysterious clues and seven stories waiting to be uncovered. And, after reading The Seven Sisters, The Storm Sister and The Shadow Sister, I was more than ready to find out what was waiting for us in The Pearl Sister.

Each book opens another door, introduces another sister and takes you somewhere completely different, while slowly adding more pieces to the much bigger story.

The Book That Had Me Wanting Ally to Catch a Break
There is something quite dangerous about starting a Lucinda Riley book.
You think you’re simply going to read a story. Then, somewhere along the way, you realise you have become emotionally involved with people who don’t actually exist, you’re thinking about them when you’re not reading, and you’ve reached the point where you are silently willing things to work out for them.
